October 14, a cancellation ceremony of a postal card with original stamp, dedicated to the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation was held

The event was attended by Vladimir V. Shelikhov, Deputy Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Talia Ya. Khabrieva, Director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation; Yuriy Tikhomirov member of the International Academy of Comparative Law. The ceremony was held in the frameworks of the enlarged meeting of the Academic Council, dedicated to celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Institute.



Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation is the oldest research institution in the country. It was founded in 1925.



The main tasks of the institute are research in the field of legal support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the President of the Russian Federation and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; development of scientific concepts of development of legislation; study and scientific substantiation of bills introduced in the legislative initiative by the Government of the Russian Federation; analysis of the effects of the legislation of the Russian Federation.



The postal card with original stamp depicted: on the original stamp is the emblem of the Institute with the Russian tricolor on the background; on the main image is the building of the institute.
