September 22, “Innovations in Philately” international philatelic workshop in the framework of the World Association for the Development of Philately of the Universal Postal Union holds in Sochi.
The event is attended by representatives of the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union, as well as by Heads of organizations, issuing postage stamps of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Romania and Russia. The Russian delegation is headed by Vladimir V. Shelikhov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency of Communications and Artyom Adibekov, Chairman of the World Association for the Development of Philately/Director General of FSUE “Marka” Publishing and Trading Centre.
The seminar will focus on innovation in the field of philately as well as modern printing technology. The use of different systems of protection and safety, using in the printing of postage stamps will be a separate topic of the round table in the framework of the international conference on protected printing “Watermark Conference-2015”.
The seminar will last until September 23, 2015.
