Additions and amendments to the postage stamps and envelopes with an original stamp issue plans for 2015 and 2016 were approved at the meeting. Appeals concerning issue of postage stamps received from the government, social organizations and institutions, as well as from individuals were considered.
A stamp featuring Iona Nikitchenko, the Soviet Union's member of the international Nuremberg tribunal, will be added to the
Outstanding Lawyers of Russia series in 2015, thus celebrating 70th anniversary of the Nuremberg trials.
It was decided to issue a souvenir sheet in 2016 to honor the date of the end of the trials and sentencing of the Nazi criminals.
Postage stamps commemorating the centenary of a great Ingush writer Jemaldin Yandiyev, the 150th 1anniversary of notarial system in Russia, the 20 years of Russian membership in the Council of Europe and 300th anniversary of postal and courier communication of the Armed Forces if the Russian Federation.
