August 22, a cancellation ceremony of the envelope “Sevastopol. “The Forge of Victory” Bike Show” was held in the framework of celebrations dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the bike show in Sevastopol city.
The participants of the ceremony were Sergey Menyailo, Governor of Sevastopol; Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Alexander Zaldostanov, Founder and Leader of “Night Wolves” Russia's oldest biker club; Vladimir Turov, Veteran of the World War II, a member of the Battle of Stalingrad.
Oleg Dukhovnitskiy said in his opening speech that “this cancellation ceremony dedicated to both anniversaries of this year: the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 20th anniversary of the bike show”.
"Over the years, this bike show not only impressed the audience by the number of participants, the scale of event and its staginess, but above all, performed the difficult mission of education of patriotism between youth, preserving the memory of the important pages of our history” - said Oleg Dukhovnitskiy.
“Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Marka” Publishing and Trading Centre supervised by the Federal Communications Agency also pays great attention to the patriotic education of youth in its philatelic activity, so today we are releasing into circulation an envelope dedicated to “The Forge of Victory” patriotic bike show in the union of like-minded people” - concluded the Head of the Federal Communications Agency.
The envelope depicts a fragment of a stylized poster of the triumphant international “The Forge of Victory” bike show.
