In his welcoming remarks, Oleg Dukhovnitskiy told about the artistic conception of the author, who tried to reflect a long history of development of the bank on a souvenir sheet: “The stamp depicts a portrait of Evgeniy I. Lamanskiy, who managed the State Bank of the Russian Empire in 1867-1881, coins of different years and the modern building of the Bank of Russia”. Head of the Federal Communications Agency congratulated the staff on the remarkable date. “The Bank of Russia acts as a guarantor of stability of the financial market of the Russian Federation”, - he said.
The issue of a souvenir sheet is dedicated to the 155th foundation anniversary of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
