May 20 a cancellation ceremony of a postal card with commemorative stamp “Armored train “Moscow Metro” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and the 80th anniversary of Moscow subway



The participants of the ceremony were Vladimir Shelikhov, Deputy Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Dmitry Pegov, Head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Moscow Metro”.



The postal card depicts an armored train "Moscow Metro", which was built in late 1942, with money collected by employees of Moscow metro. The staff of armored train was mainly consisted of employees of Moscow metro, This train went to the front, there were 58 people in the crew. In July 1943, the train was involved in a fierce battle at the Kursk Bulge.
