The XI International competition class for producing postal administrations of the countries - members of the UPU and its territories within the World Philatelic Exhibition "MALAYSIA 2014" was held December 1-6, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Competition regulations are developed by the Universal Postal Union in conjunction with the International Federation of Philately. The purpose of this event is to demonstrate innovation in the technology of stamps printing, to present the new forms of issue used for the philately development and to maintain the interest of the public in stamp collecting. Issuing postal administrations of the countries registered in the numbering system of WNS World Association for the Development of Philately (WADP) can only become the members of the UPU.
In 2014, the vernissage was attended by the postal administrations of Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Cyprus, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Tunisia, Turkey, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, South Africa.
According to the results of competitive class an exhibit of the Russian postage stamps “Business Cards of Russian Federation” presented by the FSUE “Marka” Publishing and Trading Centre supervised by the Federal Communications Agency was awarded a silver medal.
Exhibit includes postage stamps, souvenir sheets, envelopes and postcards with original stamp were to be released into circulation in 2011-2013. All state signs of postal payment are accompaniedwith the thematic and technical information (in English). Philatelic production was selected in such a way as to demonstrate the subject and thematic diversity, social orientation and the importance of the products, as well as its high design and printing performance.
