The World Exhibition of postage stamps “PHILAKOREA 2014”, on the theme “Love, Peace and Harmony”, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the organization of the national postal service, was held in Seoul, the capital city of the Republic of Korea from 7 to 12 August, 2014. In major urban business and exhibition center “COEX” were demonstrated more than 500 exhibits from 68 countries in various classes.
The Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Marka” Publishing and Trading Centre supervised by the Federal Communications Agency took part in the competition class of philatelic literature, which was presented 96 publications.
The Catalogues “Zemstvo, Wenden. Stamps, Stamped Envelopes, Postcards, Post Packages 1862-1919”, “Local Issues of the Russian Empire 1845-1915. Russian Post abroad 1863-1920. Civil War Local Issues 1918-1923. The Tuvan People’s Republic 1926-1944. Local Issues of the Russian Federation 1992-2006”, “Stamped Envelopes, Post Packages, Confidential Announcement Letters, Postal Sheets of the Russian Empire, the Grand Duchy of Finland, the USSR, the Tuvan People’s Republic and the Russian Federation 1845-2012”, “Postcards, Lettercards, Postal Order Forms of the Russian Empire, the Grand Duchy of Finland, RSFSR, USSR, Russian Federation 1871-2012” awarded gold medals.
A large silver medal received an annual set of the magazine “Philately 2013”.
