August 16, the international competitions for the world title “Tank biathlon – 2014” were finished on the Alabino polygon in the Moscow region. Russian tankers became the champions in the team standings and won the gold and the silver medals in the individual championship crews. Sergei Shoigu, Russian Defense Minister had awarded the winners.
"I think that the start of the competition was an important step towards enhanced ties of friendship and trust between the armies of participating countries," - said the Minister.
The participants of the cancellation ceremony of the postcard dedicated to the World Cup “Tank biathlon – 2014” were Vladimir Shelikhov, Deputy Head of the Federal Communications Agency; and Arkady Bakhin, First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"I am sure that the these postcards, which were received in all post offices, and the championship will go down in history", - said Vladimir Shelikhov.
Arkady Bakhin promised to hold in 2015 more spectacular event in 2015, and noted the high level of training of all crews.
