A cancellation ceremony of a postal card dedicated to the patriotic bike show in Sevastopol

August 9, a cancellation ceremony of a postal card dedicated to the patriotic bike show was held near the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, at Khristalny Cape.

The participants of the ceremony were Oleg Dukhovnitsky, Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Sergey Meniailo acting as Governor of Sevastopol; Deputy Sergey Zhelezniak, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; Alexander Zaldostanov (the Surgeon), the founder and leader of Russia's oldest biker club “Night Wolves”.

"Bike Show is dedicated to veterans and defenders of the Motherland, whose courage and dignity admires all Russia. The same qualities are peculiar to volunteers who defended the peninsula and their own independence in February. Due to their fortitude and solidarity, the affiliation agreement between Russia and the Republic of Crimea peninsula was signed in Moscow, March 18, 2014", - said Oleg Dukhovnitsky.

“It's really a triumphant show. I am very grateful for the release of the postal card, through which people around the world will learn about our show. This year the show is dedicated to the reunification of the Crimea with Russia”, - said Alexander Zaldostanov.

The same day the participants of the cancellation ceremony planted trees on the Alley of Russia and laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the heroic defenders of Sevastopol.

“Let there be more and more trees every year in Russia and fascism and death will never take root in our land,” - said Sergey Zhelezniak.

A postal card depicts waving flags of the Russian Federation and the federal city of Sevastopol, and the motorcyclist against a full moon on a background.
