The International Philatelic Exhibition “Odessafilex 2014” dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Odessa, was held from 8 to 13 July 2014. The exhibition took place in the Maritime Gallery Exhibition Centre of Odessa Sea Commercial Port. It has been demonstrated about 120 exhibits from 5 countries (Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Greece, Poland).
24 editions were exhibited in the competitive literary class. The Catalogues “Zemstvo, Wenden. Stamps, Stamped Envelopes, Postcards, Post Packages 1862-1919”, “Local Issues of the Russian Empire 1845-1915. Russian Post abroad 1863-1920. Civil War Local Issues 1918-1923. The Tuvan People’s Republic 1926-1944. Local Issues of the Russian Federation 1992-2006”, “Stamped Envelopes, Post Packages, Confidential Announcement Letters, Postal Sheets of the Russian Empire, the Grand Duchy of Finland, the USSR, the Tuvan People’s Republic and the Russian Federation 1845-2012”, “Postcards, Lettercards, Postal Order Forms of the Russian Empire, the Grand Duchy of Finland, RSFSR, USSR, Russian Federation 1871-2012” got a large gilded medal. An annual set of the magazine “Philately” also got a large gilded medal.
