STAMPEX SPRING 2014, a traditional national stamp exhibition with international participation organized by the Association of British Philatelic Traders Societies (ABPS) was held on 19-22 February in London. FSUE “Marka” Publishing and Trading Centre supervised by the Federal Communications Agency was invited to participate in the exhibition. The spacious hall of the Business Design Centre hosted over 70 exhibits of various classes and types.
The literature class saw a successful debut of the Catalogues for State Signs of Postal Payment issued at the end of 2013: “Zemstvo, Wenden. Postage Stamps, Stamped Envelopes, Postcards, Wrappers 1862–1919” and “Local Issues of the Russian Empire 1845–1915. Russian Post Abroad 1863–1920. Local Issues of the Civil War 1918–1923. The Tuvan People’s Republic 1926–1944. Local Issues of the Russian Federation 1992-2006. The editions were granted the highest award – a gold medal.
The Catalogues for State Signs of Postal Payment “Stamped Envelopes, Wrappers, Confidential Announcement Letters, Postal Sheets of the Russian Empire, the Grand Duchy of Finland, the USSR, the Tuvan People's Republic and the Russian Federation 1845 – 2012” and “Postcards, Lettercards, Postal Order Forms of the Russian Empire, the Grand Duchy of Finland, RSFSR, USSR, Russian Federation 1871 – 2012”received a large vermeil medal.
The catalogue “Postage Stamps of the Russian Empire 1857-1919, RSFSR 1918-1923, USSR 1923-1960” was awarded a vermeil medal.
