December 14, we are happy to present the 2013 second issue “XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi. Sports Legends”
Within the current year Marka Publishing and Trading Centre under the supervision of the Federal Communications Agency has issued within the framework of the “Sochi 2014” Programme: 16 postage stamps, 3 souvenir sheets, 35 cards and 20 pre-stamped envelopes, as well as sets of all issued postage stamps and sheets in illustrated covers.
Among the themes used for the “Sochi 2014” production in 2013: Olympic Winter Sports, Olympic Sports Venues, Olympic Torch Relay, Sports Legends, and New Year postage stamps depicting the Mascots of the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi.
Since 2011 within the framework of the “Sochi 2014” Programme the following quantities of goods have been sold: 21 785 861 postage stamps and sheets, 34 516 873 envelopes, 729 120 postal cards, 40 980 presentation packs in illustrated covers.
