On April 2, 2013 the session of the Commission of the Federal Agency of Communications on state signs of postal payment.
In the course of the session additions to the thematic plan of issuance of postage stamps for 2013 as well as additions and changes to the thematic plan of issuance of postal cards and envelopes with a commemorative stamp for 2013 have been made. The consideration of the draft thematic plan of issuance of postage stamps, postal cards and envelopes with a commemorative stamp for 2014 has been taken place.
The thematic plan of issuance of postage stamps for 2013 has been added, particularly, with postage stamps dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first flight of woman into space, to the 1025th anniversary of the christianization of Russia, to the XIV World Athletics Championship in Moscow, to the 75th anniversary of the universal combat sambo.
The thematic plan of issuance of postage stamps for 2014 includes the issues dedicated to the 700th birth anniversary of St. Sergius of Radonezh, to the 200th birth anniversary of M.Yu. Lermontov, to the 450th anniversary of book printing in Russia, to the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Zoo. The following series – “Heroes of the Russian Federation”, “Outstanding lawyers of Russia”, “Contemporary Russian Art”, “History of the Russian uniform” and others will be also continued in 2014.
In 2014 postal envelopes with commemorative stamp dedicated to the 175th birth anniversary of M.P. Mussorgsky, to the 175th birth anniversary of N.P. Przhevalsky, to the 300th anniversary of the Kunstkamera and to the 450th birth anniversary of William Shakespeare will be issued.
The cards “The 125 birth anniversary of A.A. Akhmatova (1889-1966), poetess, writer”, “The 100th birth anniversary of S.B. Speransky (1914-1980), architect”, “The 300th anniversary of the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, “The 100th birth anniversary of Yu.B. Levitan (1914-1983), speaker, people's artist of the USSR” have been included to the draft thematic plan of issuance of postal cards with commemorative stamp for 2014.
