N.N. Kutafina, widow of O.E. Kutafin and V.V. Blazheev, Rector of Academy, took part in the ceremony of cancellation of postage stamp.

Oleg E. Kutafin was an outstanding Russian lawyer, academician and a member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Law, for more than 20 years he had been rector of Moscow State Law Academy. He made a significant contribution to the development of legal science and the development of the existing Constitution of the RF. He published over 260 works devoted to the theory of constitutional and municipal law in Russia.

For longstanding research and teaching activity and great contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists O.E. Kutafin was awarded the Order For Merit to the Fatherland of the I, II, III and IV classes.
