The Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network (RTRS) is a Russian state-owned company that operates the country’s over-the-air television and radio transmission network. Its headquarters is located in Moscow.
RTRS was founded on August 13 of 2001. It is included in the list of Russia’s strategic enterprises; it provides 98.6% of Russia’s population with twenty mandatory overt television channels and three radio channels in the DVB-T2 standard - which are part of the first and second multiplexes of the Digital Terrestrial television - and contributes to the development of mobile communications.
