Andrei A. Petrov (1919−1990) is a film and theatre actor, People’s Artist of the Russian SFSR.

The original stamp provides images of theatrical symbols: a curtain, masks and a lyre; the main image shows Andrei A. Petrov's portrait and a scene out of play “More sinned against than sinning” by Alexander Ostrovsky where the actor appeared in tandem with Lyudmila I. Kasatkina
In addition to the emission of the postal card with the original stamp, the JSC Marka will produce special cancels for Moscow and St.-Petersburg.
