War drama Podolsk Cadets is a film about a real feat, dedication, courage and fortitude. The film is inspired by true events, which occurred in October of 1941 near Moscow. Cadets of the Podolsk artillery and infantry schools were given an order to take up defense on the Ilinsky line and to hold back the onslaught of German troops. For 12 days, young men together with senior officers fought up to the last ditch, offering resistance and waiting for assistance. The film tells not only about the war, but also about true values: love, friendship, and family relations.
The postal stamp provides a Podolsk Cadets movie still.
