The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is an international organization of regional economic integration possessing international legal personality established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. The EAEU ensures freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor, as well as conduct of coordinated, harmonized or unified policy in economic sectors.
On January 1, 2023, Russia assumed the presidency of the Eurasian Economic Union. Under present-day conditions of global markets and the unfavorable global political environment, the member states of the Union have managed not only to stabilize the macroeconomic situation, but also to improve a number of key indicators.
The postage stamp features an emblem designed purposefully for the year of the presidency of the Russian Federation in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.
