The key goals of the Ecology National Project are effective management of production and consumption waste, including the elimination of unauthorized dumps within city boundaries and a radical reduction of air pollution in major industrial centers, including a decrease of min by 20% of the total volume of atmospheric air pollutant emissions in the most contaminated cities.
Within the frames of this Project, the Russian Environmental Operator Public Non-Profit Company and JSC Marka with the partner sponsorship of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia arranged a Postage Stamp Drawing Competition dedicated to ecology. The Competition aims at popularization of environmental behavior patterns, separate waste collection and promotion of conscious consumption, which is an essential condition for achievement of the goals of the Ecology National Project.
The winner in the Postage Stamp category was Ksenia Gromova, 25 y.o., Moscow, with her Favorite Planet drawing.
The postage stamp features the logo of the Ecology National Project and the drawing of the competition winner.
