On June 18, 1997, the first St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was held in the Tauride Palace.
Every year, the Forum is attended by more than 10 thousand participants from Russia and foreign countries, including leaders of state and government of developing countries, heads of major companies, as well as the world's leading experts from among representatives of science, mass media and civil society.
Over the years, the Forum has become the world's basic platform for interaction of representatives of business circles and discussion of the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world on the whole.
The dates of the 25th Jubilee St. Petersburg International Economic Forum have been set for June 15-18, 2022. The program of the Forum will traditionally focus on global and Russian economic issues, social issues and advancements in technology.
