Gromov Sergey Sergeevich (1966–1995) - Soviet and Russian officer, captain of the Airborne Forces, counterintelligence, Hero of the Russian Federation. On February 27, 1995, for the courage and heroism shown in the performance of official and military duty, Captain Sergey Sergeyevich Gromov was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation posthumously. He was awarded the medals “For Courage”, “For Distinction in Military Service” of the 1st and 2nd degrees.
