Feodor Rokotov is one of the most famous portrait painters of the second half of the XVIII century, a graduate of the Academy of Arts, he was close to the tsar's court. Such famous paintings as portrait of Empress Catherine II, portrait of I.L. Golenishchev-Kutuzov, portrait of the poet V.I. Maikov, prince D.M. Golitsyn, A.I. Vorontsov, A.P. Struyskoy (1772), unknown in a pink dress, unknown in the cocked hat, countess E.A. Musinа-Pushkinа and many others belong to his brush.
