Issue depicts characteristic headdresses of the central regions of the country, the sample of XIX century. Women's headdresses of that time traditionally embroidered with galloon, gold braid, river pearls, nacre, stained glass, spangles, creating a light-golden halo around the head. The motives mainly were floral and zoomorphic ornaments. Beaded or pearl podniz’ (fringe or grid from the strung pearls, beads) was often attached to the front end, descending onto the eyebrows or elevated above the forehead in the form of several arcs.
Man's headdresses weren’t notable for the variety of forms and furnish.
