The logo of the Federal Postal Service of the Russian Federation is placed on the corporate post envelopes, vehicles, post equipment, service dress, seals and flags of the RF post service.

St.George was not only one of the most revered saints in Ancient Russia. He became part of Russian culture. Cathedrals and monasteries were created in his honour. Grand dukes named their sons after him. People celebrated his day on 23 April (6 May). St.George fighting down the Serpant was first the symbol of Moscow, and then he was included in the symbol of Russia.

The Flag of the Russian Federation is the official symbol of the Power. The Coat of Arms is the official symbol of the State. It is depicted on the seals, government organs forms and currency notes.

The picture symbolizes electric power - the main sphere of energetics providing electrification of the country. In developed nations the technical means of the electric power are united in automated and controlled systems.

The Spasskaya Tower featured on the stamp is considered the main tower of the Moscow Kremlin. It was built in 1491 by an Italian architect Pietro Solari. First it was called Frolovskaya. It was renamed Spasskaya in 1658, when the Saviour was painted above the gate. The Great Kremlin Palace was built in 1838-1849 by a group of architects under the guidance of K.A.Ton. The palace front faces the Moskva. It is 125 m long from west to east. The palace was a temporary residence of the emperor family when they came to Moscow.
