A berry is a small, fleshy fruit with a dense thin peel, juicy pulp and seeds inside, usually produced by shrubby or herbaceous plants; berries need not be snapped off or cut on consumption. The most popular are raspberries, strawberries, currants, gooseberries, blueberries, blackberries, sea buckthorn, cranberries and lingonberries.
Fresh and frozen berries are consumable all year round and the products of their processing (jam, jelly, marmalade, puree, and fruit drinks) are on permanent high demand among buyers.
The postage stamps provide images of fruits of cranberry, dogberry, lingonberry and Arctic raspberry.
