By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the year of 2021 was declared the Year of Science and Technology. The stamps of 2021 present projects developed by Russian scientists.
Anthropomorphic robot FEDOR is a human-like rescue robot capable of recognizing words and generating replies. On August 22, 2019, Fedor took a flight in the central pilot seat of the Soyuz MS-14 space ship to the International Space Station.
An unmanned flying vehicle of the Cyclone project can carry load up to 20 kg while remaining unnoticed. The cycloplane is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system consisting of a gasoline motor with a generator and electric motors with accumulators.
Experimental robotic platform Marker is a joint project of the FPI National Center of Development of Technologies and Basic Elements of Robotics and NPO Android Technology. The Marker platform has a modular architecture and can be installed both on tracked and wheeled chassis. The armament is a 7.62-mm machine gun and two anti-tank guided missiles. The Marker platform can be operated either by a human or run under remote control.
Vityaz is a Russian autonomous uninhabited underwater apparatus. On May 8, 2020, it made a 10,028-m deep dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. During the dive, it performed surface mapping, photo- and video-surveying of the seafloor and fixed a pennant to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
