George Noel Gordon Byron (1788–1824) is a great English poet, an ancestor of the Byron movement named in his honour in the literature of the XIX century.

The main author’s works are “Ode to Billie Joe”, “Childe Harold's Pilgrimage”, “The Bride of Abydos”, “The Corsair”, “Lara”, “Hebrew Melodies”, “The Siege of Corinth”, “Parisina”, “The Prisoner of Chillon”, “Prometheus”, “Manfred”, “The Lament of Tasso”, “Mazeppa”, “Beppo”, “Oda to Venice”, “Don Juan“, “The Prophecy of Dante”, “Cain”, “The Age of Bronze”, “Song for the Luddites” and etc.

Creavity work of George Gordon Byron was an important stage in sprit development of the European society and literature of the beginning of 19th century and it is among the most brilliant pages in the UK national literary heritage.
