The Dormition Church (the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever Virgin Mary, the Dormition Admiralty Church) is an architectural monument of the 17th century. It is a cultural heritage site of federal significance in Russia.

The South-Eastern Railway Administration Building was constructed in 1929–1930 based on a design by Voronezh architect N. Troitsky. By 1952, a new building with a tower was added, incorporating elements of the Stalinist Empire style. It is a cultural heritage site of regional significance in Russia.
