Igor Spassky (1926–2024) was a Soviet and Russian scientist, an engineer, and a chief designer of the Rubin Leningrad Planning and Installation Bureau under the Ministry of the Shipbuilding Industry of the USSR; a Scientific Director of Joint-Stock Company Central Design Bureau of Marine Engineering ‘Rubin’ in St. Petersburg. Igor Spassky was a Hero of Socialist Labor, a Holder of the Lenin Prize and the USSR State Prize. He was a Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (until 1992 - a member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR), an Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, a Doctor of Technical Sciences, a professor. Spassky was a Hero of the Russian Federation, a member of the Interdepartmental Scientific Council on Shipbuilding of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

On June 11, a souvenir sheet dedicated to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Konstantin Gorbatov, a painter, will go into postal circulation
Konstantin Gorbatov (1876–1945) was a Russian Impressionist artist, a painter, a landscape artist, and a professor of the Imperial Academy of Arts.
The central theme of his creative work was cozy provincial Russian towns with their narrow streets, churches, and harmonious landscapes. His paintings are notable for their expressiveness, airiness, and lightness. The artist’s style is characterized by a mosaic-like brushstroke and a sketch-like quality. Travels are also reflected in K. Gorbatov’s works. In Italy, he experimented with vivid color combinations, complex lines of sight, and composition. Numerous seascapes, mountains, rural buildings, and enchanting views of Venice are filled with picturesque decorativeness and a cheerful ring. K. Gorbatov’s works may be found in many collections, including those of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and others.
The postage stamp features K. Gorbatov’s painting The Province (1915, New Jerusalem Museum); the margins of the souvenir sheet provide a portrait of the artist in his studio.

On June 16, a postage stamp with a commemorative stamp dedicated to the 125th Birth Anniversary of Pavel Poluboyarov, a Marshal of the Armored Forces, a Hero of the Soviet Union, will go into postal circulation in the History of the Armed Forces of Russia series
Pavel Poluboyarov (1901–1984) was a Soviet military commander, a Marshal of the Armored Forces, and a Hero of the Soviet Union.
He took part in the fighting at Khalkhin Gol in 1939 and was awarded his first medal for the distinguished service in battle. He was a participant in the Great Patriotic War from June of 1941. He took part in the counteroffensive at Stalingrad, the Battle of Kursk, and the Zhitomir-Berdychev, Proskurov-Chernovtsy, Lvov-Sandomierz, Carpathian-Dukla, Vistula-Oder, Lower Silesian and Upper Silesian offensive operations, Berlin, and Prague operations.
The commemorative stamp provides images of Russian warriors from different ages; the main image features a portrait of Marshal of the Armored Forces P. Poluboyarov against a backdrop of T-34 tanks.

On June 18, two postage stamps dedicated to fauna will go into postal circulation in the framework of the joint issue of the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Philippines
June 2 of 2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Philippines. To celebrate this event, the two countries will issue a joint series of postage stamps featuring wildlife.
The greater jerboa is a dweller of open spaces, inhabiting deserts, forest-steppe and steppe zones.
The Philippine mouse deer is a species of mammals in the Tragulidae family, endemic to Balabac Island and the nearby smaller islands (Bugsuk and Ramos) southwest of the Palawan Province in the Philippines.
The postage stamps provide images of the greater jerboa living in Russia and the Philippine mouse deer living in the Philippines.

On June 18, a postage stamp dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the International Federation of Philately will go into postal circulation
The International Federation of Philately (French: Fédération internationale de philatélie, abbreviated FIP) is the most representative international association of philatelists, founded in 1926. Today, the organization includes representatives from 95 countries around the world. The official languages of the FIP are English, Spanish, German, Russian, and French.
The supreme body of the FIP is the Congress, which meets annually in the capitals or major cities of the Federation’s member states. To coordinate day-to-day operations of the FIP, a Secretariat has been established with its legal seat being determined by the FIP Congress. As of today, the Secretariat is located in Zurich, Switzerland.
Every year, world and international philatelic exhibitions are arranged under the sponsorship of the FIP. International philatelic exhibitions organized under the auspices of the FIP have been held since 1927. In Russia, the first World Philatelic Exhibition took place in Moscow in 1997.

On June 24, a postage stamp dedicated to the Museum of Russian Impressionism will go into postal circulation
The Museum of Russian Impressionism is a private museum in Moscow dedicated to Russian Art from the late 19th century to the first third of the 20th century. It has been open to the public since May 28, 2016. It is located in a building on the grounds of the former Bolshevik confectionery factory.
The museum has already organized more than 20 temporary exhibitions with participation of the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Musée d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, and several dozens of Russian regional museums under federal and municipal jurisdiction.
In 2016 and 2022, the museum was longlisted for The Art Newspaper Russia award in the Museum of the Year category.

On June 25, a postcard with a commemorative stamp dedicated to the 125th Birth Anniversary of Stanislav Kalesnik, a geographer, a glaciologist, and the President of the Russian Geographical Society, will go into postal circulation in the Geographical Projects of Russia series
Stanislav Kalesnik (1901–1977) was a Soviet geographic scientist, a Doctor of Geographical Sciences, a professor, and a member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
The scientist’s major works focused on theoretical issues in physical geography, landscape science, glaciology, and geomorphology. He developed a concept of general Earth science. He proposed the terms global ecology, chionosphere (glacial shell), energy of glaciation, and geographical structure; he clarified the concepts of geographical landscape and geographical environment.
The main illustration shows a portrait of S. Kalesnik against the backdrop of a photograph from the expedition to the Dzungarian Alatau in 1930–1931 and the RGO logo; the commemorative stamp features images symbolically reflecting geographical projects.

On June 26, a postage stamp dedicated to sailing sport will go into postal circulation in the Sports series
Sports are forms of athletic activity that have been evolving over time and developed into distinct disciplines, such as track-and-field athletics, football, basketball, swimming, and others. Currently, there are approximately 200 different athletic disciplines worldwide.
Sailing is a kind of aquatic sport in which athletes compete using harness rigging. Competitions are held on boats (yachts) or sports implements (e.g., boards) that move owing to wind power. Sailing sport can be practiced not only in summer on water, but also in winter on ice. In wintertime, sailing competitions are held on implements mounted on skates or skis. Such ice yachts are referred to as ice-boats. On land, competitions are held for wheeled and beach (sand) yachts. Today, the governing body for sailing sport in Russia is the All-Russian Sailing Federation.
