On October 4, a stamp dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the House-Museum of Anton Chekhov in Yalta will go into postal circulation
The House-Museum of Anton Chekhov is situated in Yalta, where the writer spent the last 6 years of his life. Having moved from Moscow to the Crimea for health reasons the writer bought a plot of land in Yalta where a garden was laid out and a house was built upon the project of architect L. Shapovalov. In that house, in the years of 1899–1904, Anton Chekhov wrote many famous works: plays Three Sisters and The Cherry Orchard, novella In the Ravine, stories The Lady with the Dog, The Bishop, At Christmas Time and The Bride.
The Anton Chekhov’s house received the official status of a museum in 1921. Chekhov’s sister Maria was appointed its supervisor.
In 1966, a literature exhibition opened on the territory of the museum in a specially built building designed by architect Z.V. Peremilovsky. In 1974-1980, the House-Museum of Anton Chekhov in Yalta was closed for restoration. In 1983, new literature exhibition A. Chekhov’s Life and Writing opened. Presently, the House-Museum of A. Chekhov in Yalta State-Funded Institution is under the charge of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.

The Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications is an international intergovernmental organization for the provision of satellite communications services was founded on November 15, 1971, in Moscow.
Currently, it unites 26 states (members of the Intersputnik Organization), which are represented by national communications organizations.
The objective of the Organization is to contribute to the strengthening and development of comprehensive economic, scientific, technical and cultural relations by communications as well as by radio and television broadcasting via artificial satellites of the Earth; to promote cooperation and coordinate the efforts of the member countries in designing, establishing, operating and developing an international system of satellite communications.

Rosgosstrakh is a Russian insurance company, one of the largest insurance organizations in Russia with regard to the scope, assets and reserves. It is the legal successor of the Gosstrakh of the USSR, which was founded on October 6, 1921.
The company mission is to protect people's well-being by providing them with affordable services corresponding to their needs. The company offers insurance of transport, travelling, property, health, liability, savings, agriculture, and space industry.

On October 8, a postcard with a commemorative stamp dedicated to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Ivan Poddubny, wrestler, athlete, circus performer, will go into postal circulation
Ivan M. Poddubny (1871–1949) was a professional wrestler, athlete and circus performer. He was one of the most distinguished wrestlers in the world who repeatedly won Greco-Roman wrestling “world championships” including the most prestigious one in Paris.
In 1922, he began performing at the Moscow Circus. Then, there were long tours over Germany and the USA. He left the circle in 1941 at the age of 70.
Since 1962, this country has been holding international Grand Prix wrestling tournaments in memory of Ivan Poddubny.
In 2011, a bronze monument to Poddubny was installed in the city of Yeisk.
The commemorative stamp provides Ivan Poddubny's portrait against a circus circle; the main image features a Greco-Roman wrestling approach.

The Eurasian Women's Forum, carried out on a regular basis since 2015, has become the largest international platform consolidating women from all continents of the planet.
On October 13-15, 2021, St. Petersburg will host the Third Eurasian Women's Forum organized by the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS Member Nations.
The theme of the Third Eurasian Women’s Forum is Women: A Global Mission in the New Reality. Strengthening international cooperation with the view of consolidation of the women’s role in achievement of the goals of sustainable development, the formation of a women's agenda, as well as new approaches to global challenges in the context of the new reality are the primary objectives facing the participants and organizers.

On October 14, a stamp dedicated to the Holy Trinity Novo-Golutvin Convent will go into postal circulation in the Monasteries of the Russian Orthodox Church series
The Holy Trinity Novo-Golutvin Convent is a nunnery of the Kolomna eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church in a town of Kolomna.
The territory of the monastery houses the still-standing Trinity and Protection churches, a bell tower and stone chambers. On the lower floor of the Trinity Church, a sanctuary in honor of St. Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg was arranged. In 2002, a chapel was built in honor of the Holy Great Prince Vladimir, Equal of the Apostles, and Saint Anastasia of Sirmium.
Today, more than 80 conventuals and nuns from Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus live in the Convent. An Orthodox Medical Center named after St. Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg is open in the Convent where patients are seen by nuns with medical background. Besides, there are a small xenodochium for pilgrims and a frater.
The postal stamp shows the monastery general view and a portrait of St. Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg, especially revered in the Convent.

On October 15, stamps dedicated to the Tsypnavoloksky and Teribersky Lighthouses will go into postal circulation in the Lighthouses of Russia series
The Tsypnavoloksky Lighthouse was built in 1896 on the northeastern top end of the Rybachy Peninsula on the Tsypnavolok Cape; sea routes that connect the ports of the Kola Bay, the White Sea and Siberian rivers with Western countries run past the lighthouse.
The Teribersky Lighthouse located on the northwestern top end of the oblong stony Kola Peninsula was put into operation in 1896.
The postal stamps provide images of the Tsypnavoloksky Lighthouse against the background of the Rybachy Peninsula of the Murmansk Region of the Kola Peninsula and a wind diagram; and the Teribersky Lighthouse against the background of the Murmansk coast of the Kola Peninsula and a wind diagram.

On October 21, a stamp featuring the Georgievsky Hall will go into postal circulation in the Grand Kremlin Palace series
The Grand Kremlin Palace is one of the palaces of the Moscow Kremlin. It was built in 1838-1849 by order of Emperor Nicholas I. The palace functions as the ceremonial residence of the head of the state.
The Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace is the largest of the staterooms of the Moscow Kremlin. It was meant as a hall of military glory of Russian arms and was dedicated to the Order of St. George the Victorious, who since ancient times has been a symbol of Russian feats of arms and the chief guardian and protector of the Russian army. The ceiling vaults are highly decorated with symbols of the Order of St. George: gold stars and crosses. Presently, the Georgievsky Hall hosts meetings of the President of the Russian Federation with foreign delegations; besides, the Hall is used for full-dress dinners and festivals.

On October 27, stamp booklet History of Russian Tank Building will go into postal circulation
Tank building in Russia dates its history back to 1920–1921, when first Russian tank models were designed at the Krasnoye Sormovo plant in Nizhniy Novgorod on the basis of the captured Renault French tank.
In the early 1930s, the principal design centers of the Soviet tank building industry were established in Moscow, Leningrad and Kharkov. During the Great Patriotic War, the main objective was to provide the Army with light caterpillar, wheel-caterpillar, medium and heavy cruiser tanks. In the post-war period, new models were under development featuring more powerful armament, reliable protection and enhanced maneuvering.
Nowadays, tank formations remain the main striking force of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

On October 28, a stamp dedicated to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Ivan M. Gubkin, the organizer of the Russian oil geology and petroleum industry, will go into postal circulation
Ivan M. Gubkin (1871–1939) was the organizer of the Russian oil geology, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1929), Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1936), winner of the Lenin Prize (1931).
Ivan Gubkin's investigations in the field of oil and gas geology were of great importance for the state and laid the foundation for formation of the national raw material base, which allowed Russia to become a world leader in oil and gas. Ivan Gubkin initiated the geological works aimed at the development of an oil base between the Volga and the Urals, Central Asia, Western Siberia and the Far East; he contributed greatly to the development of the resources of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly.
