Emissions of state valuable postal matter in February

On February 3, four stamps dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Gokhran of Russia will go into postal circulation

The postal stamps provide images of exhibits from the Russia Gokhran collection: a Bow-Sklavazh, a Grand Bouquet, a Bracelet with a portrait diamond and a Spinel of the Great Imperial Crown.

In addition to the emission of the postal stamps, JSC Marka will produce First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and St. Petersburg, and publish an illustrated envelope and a stamp booklet.

On February 7, a stamp dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of writer and poet Ivan A. Bunin will go into postal circulation in the Noble Prize Winners series

The postal stamp provides a Bunin’s portrait against a Russian manor house; the margins of the stamp sheet show the writer’s quotations and facsimile.

In addition to the emission of the postal stamp, JSC Marka will produce First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow, St. Petersburg and Voronezh.

On February 11, an envelope with a commemorative stamp dedicated to Grigory A. Rechkalov, airplane pilot, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, will go into postal circulation in the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 series

The envelope with a commemorative stamp provides an image of an emblem of the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945; the main image portraits G. Rechkalov against AeroCobra fighter aircraft and two Golden Star medals.

In addition to the emission of the envelope with a commemorative stamp, JSC Marka will produce special cancels for Moscow and Ekaterinburg.

On February 19, a stamp booklet will go into postal circulation in the Treasures of Russia. The 100th Anniversary of Gokhran of Russia series

In 2020, the Gokhran of Russia celebrates its centenary. The Gokhran of Russia ensures functioning and replenishment of the State Fund of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Russian Federation which comprises jewelry of high artistic merit, numismatic and faleristic heritage objects, unique natural gemstones, rare nuggets and readily marketable bars of precious metals.

The cover of the booklet provides an image of the Diamond Rose; on the inside pages, there are postal stamps and a description of the exhibits from the collection of the Gokhran of Russia.

On February 21, four stamps imaging uniforms of officers of the investigative agencies of Russia will go into postal circulation in the Russian Jacket History series

— special investigator and district court investigator (1898);
— special investigator and investigator of the Public Prosecutor’s service of the USSR (1954);
— investigator of the Investigative Committee at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation and the Head of the Investigative Committee at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the RF (2011).

On February 28, a postcard with a commemorative stamp devoted to the feat of paratrooper soldiers of the Pskov airborne division will go into postal circulation in the History of the Armed Forces of Russia series

The commemorative stamp provides images of Russian warriors of different times; the major picture presents a monument to airborne soldiers of the 6 Company built in 2002 in the village of Cheryokha of the Pskov Region.
