St.-Petersburg is one of the loveliest metropolitans in the world and the second largest cities of Russia.
The
Lakhta Center is a state-of-the-art social and business complex with the Gazprom state concern headquarters being its key facility. The 462 m high complex has become the highest skyscraper in Europe. Its total floor area is 400,000 sq.m.
The
Gazprom Arena stadium is one of the largest football stadiums in the world. According to the architect idea, its outward appearance resembles a spacecraft that has landed on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. The seven-story building is 56.6 m high. The capacity of the stadium is 68,000 seats.
The stamps of the postage block provide images of modern attractions of St.-Petersburg: the
Lakhta Center social and business complex and the
Gazprom Arena stadium with the municipal arms of St.-Petersburg on the margins.

Andrei A. Petrov (1919−1990) is a film and theatre actor, People’s Artist of the Russian SFSR.
The original stamp provides images of theatrical symbols: a curtain, masks and a lyre; the main image shows Andrei A. Petrov's portrait and a scene out of play “More sinned against than sinning” by Alexander Ostrovsky where the actor appeared in tandem with Lyudmila I. Kasatkina

On November 29, a block dedicated to the 150th anniversary of painter Sergei A. Vinogradov will go into postal circulation
Sergei A. Vinogradov (1869–1938) is a Russian painter and graphic artist, one of the founders of the Union of Russian Painters fine arts association. A full member of the Imperial Academy of Arts (1916).
The stamp provides an image of S. Vinogradov’s painting “In the house” (Radishchev Museum in Saratov), and the margins of the postal block show paintings “Self-Portrait” (1922, State Tretyakov Gallery), “In the house”, fragment (1910, Kaluga Fine Arts Museum) and the logo of the Russian Academy of Arts.
