Volodin Alexander Moiseevich (1919−2001) - Russian playwright, screenwriter, writer.
In 1954, Volodin’s first collection, “Stories,” was released, and in 1955 he debuted as a playwright with the play “The Factory Girl” (staged in 1956). Among the most famous plays are such as “Five Evenings”, “My Older Sister”, “Appointment”. In 1964, Alexander Moiseevich made his debut in the movie with the movie "Ring, open the door!".
In the late 1970s, films were made based on his plays: “Don't part with your loved ones!”, “Appointment”, “Dulcinea Tobos”, plays of previous years are performed. In 1979, the premiere of the film “Autumn Marathon” by G. Danelia on the script of Volodin, which was a resounding success.
