Alexey Borisovich Bukhanov (1965–2003) was a major of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs, participant in the Second Chechen War, posthumous Hero of the Russian Federation (2004).
The postage stamp depicts Alexey Bukhanov’s portrait and the Gold Star medal.
