March 2, four stamps dedicated to sports venues of the 29th Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk were put into circulation

 
 

The 29th Winter Universiade 2019 is scheduled to be held between 2-12 March 2019. 76 medal sets will be competed for in 11 sports. The Universiade programme will include eight compulsory sports: alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, ice hockey, short track speed skating, snowboarding, figure skating, curling. There will also be three optional sports in the programme: ski orienteering, freestyle and bandy. The postage stamps of 2018 feature the Bobrovy Log Fun Park; Platinum Arena Krasnoyarsk Sports and Entertainment Complex; Ivan Yarygin Sports Palace; Biathlon Academy Multi-Purpose Complex.

The postage stamps feature Krasnoyarsk sports venues and the 2019 Winter Univarsiade logo.

In addition to the postage stamps, JSC Marka has produced FDCs and special cancellation postmarks for Moscow and Krasnoyarsk; a souvenir set in an illustrated cover with postage and poster stamps is scheduled to be released too.
