The Diamond Fund of Russia forms a part of the State Fund of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Russian Federation. The fund houses one of the most renowned and largest collections of unique precious stones, noble metals and pieces of jewelry art, which have great historic, artistic, scientific and material value.
The booklet includes 4 postage stamps made with raised impression that feature the treasures of Russia’s Diamond Fund: the Orlov diamond, the Russian globus cruciger, emerald brooch and pendant with a magenta-pink tourmaline.
The booklet cover features the Great Imperial Crown, the scepter and the orb; inside the booklet are postage stamps and a short history of the Diamond Fund treasures.
