Konstruktorskoye Byuro Mashinostroyeniya was founded by a Decree of the State Defense Committee No 1576 dd 11 April 1942 specifically to develop mortar weapons used during World War II. From the first post-war years till now, JSC “RPC
KBM” develops remote-controlled weapon stations in four fields — man-portable air-defense systems, anti-tank guided missiles, short-range tactical ballistic missile systems, and an active protection systems.

Iskander short-range tactical ballistic missile system and the JSC “RPC
KBM” building.
Additionally, JSC “Marka” will manufacture first day covers and first day postmarks for Moscow and Kolomna, Moscow Oblast.
