Georgy Mikhailovich Vitsin (1917–2001) was an outstanding Soviet and Russian actor. He was a People’s Artist of the USSR (1990).
He enrolled into the Vakhtangov Moscow Theater College in 1934. He moved to the Moscow Artistic Academic Theater II studio in 1935. He was an actor in the Yermolova Theater led by Nikolai Khmelyov in 1936–1969.
The postcard with an original stamp features portrait of the actor and a film frame from
Balzaminov's Marriage (Mosfilm, 1964), in which Georgy Vitsin portrayed Misha Balzaminov.
Additionally, JSC “Marka” will manufacture a special cancellation postmark for Moscow.
