April 10, on the eve of the Cosmonautics Day a postage stamp “The 50th Anniversary of the First Human Spacewalk” is to be released into circulation

March 18, 1965, a booster "Soyuz" with a double spacecraft "Voskhod-2" on board was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Pavel Belyayev and Alexey Leonov were on board. The crew began to prepare for the spacewalk immediately after lifting. Pavel Belyaev helped Alexei Leonov to put on the individual life support system, then filled the lock chamber with air, pressed a button and the hatch to the lock chamber was opened. Leonov "floated" in the airlock. It remained to make the last step ...

Pavel Belyaev transferred to Earth: "A man went into space!"

The stamp depicts the spacewalk of a cosmonaut.
