On October 25, three postage stamps “Contemporary Russian Art” are issued


                           

                                         


 
The series of postage stamps “Contemporary Russian Art” reflects authors’ creative work who convey atmosphere of a new Russia, its peculiarity and dynamism demonstrates devices and approaches peculiar to our epoch in creation of artistic works and sculptural compositions. Postage stamps are dedicated to works of M.V. Pereyaslavets, V.M. Malyi and A.L. Bobykin.

The postage stamps depict a monument to A.I Pokryshkin, works of  M.V. Pereyaslavets (2005), a picture “Bouquet” painted by V.M. Malyi (2005) and a picture “Kerosene” painted by A.L. Bobykin (2012).

An illustrated cover is prepared to the issue; there are stamps and FDCs with cancellation.

Face value: 15 rub. each stamp.
Size of stamp: 50х37 mm, 37х50 mm.
Form of issue: sheets with illustrated margins of 6 (2х3) stamps.
Circulation: 300 thousand stamps of each theme (50 thousand sheets).
