On October 11, a souvenir sheet of a series “Coats of Arms of the subjects and towns of the Russian Federation. Yaroslavl Region”

 

 

The Coat of Arms of Yaroslavl was approved on August 23, 1995 and is one of the oldest. It represents an image of a revolting and deployed to the right black bear on a silver coat of arms which keeps a golden ax on the left shoulder in its left foreleg. The Coat of Arms of Yaroslavl was approved on February 27, 2001 and represents a black revolting bear placed in a golden shield which keeps in the left foot on the left shoulder with a silver ax with a dark red shaft.


The postage stamp depicts a Coat of Arms of the Yaroslavl Region; there is a Coat of Arms of the Yaroslavl Region and a map of the Russian Federation.
