In the momentous 1612 Russian people by all his will kept the state from the final and irreversible collapse. This troubled time entered in history as an example of unity. The formation of the Russian nation in its geographical boundaries, the revival of the Russian state power and the emergence of greatest heroes are associated with those events. Appeal of Patriarch Hermogenes pushed his compatriots on defense of the faith and Fatherland, the citizen Minin and the Prince Pozharsky led the militia and liberated Moscow from invaders.

On November 9, post card with an original mark “The 125th birth anniversary of the birth of N.I. Vavilov (1887-1943), scientist and geneticist” is issued
Nikolay Ivanovich Vavilov is a scientist-geneticist, botanist, breeder, geographer, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic Academy of Sciences and of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Vavilov is the founder of the doctrine on the immunity of plants, on the centers of origin of cultivated plants as well as on species like a system. In 1930-1940 he was the president of the All-Soviet Union Geographical Society, the founder of the All-Soviet Union of the Institute of plant industry, the director of the Institute of genetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

Vadim Nikolaevich Podbelsky is a participant of the revolutionary movement in Russia, Soviet statesman, a talented connections provider. After the October Revolution he was the Commissar for the Posts and Telegraphs in Moscow. In the spring of 1918 - People's Commissar for Posts and Telegraphs of the RSFSR.
The post card with an original stamp depicts the portrait of V.N. Podbelsky as well as all means of communications for collecting and transmitting of information – telephone apparatus, post box, telegrams, envelopes.

On November 15, four stamps dedicated to Kasli cast-iron moulding are issued within the frameworks of a series “Decorative and applied arts of Russia”
Kasli cast-iron moulding represents art objects (sculptures, objects of decorative and applied arts, objects for architecture) made of iron cast. They are the unique works of art industry in Russia, it is a true treasure of the Russian culture and history, a outstanding example of the world of art practice.
The stamps depict ornaments of the art objects of the iron foundry in the town Kasli.

On November 21, envelope with an original stamp “The 125th birth anniversary of S.Ya. Marshak (1887-1964), poet”
Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak (1887-1964) is a soviet poet, playwright, translator, book critic. In 1907 he published his first collection “Sionidy”. In 1914 his translations were printed in the magazines “North notes” and “Russian thought”. In 1923 he published for the first time verses children’s books “The house that Jack built“, “Tots in a Cage”, “Silly Little Mouse”. During the years of the Great Patriotic War the writer has been working in the satiric genre publishing the verses in the newspaper “Pravda”. S.Ya. Marshak is the laureate of the Lenin Prize (1963) and of the Stalin Prize for four times (1942, 1946, 1949, 1951).
The envelope with an original stamp depicts the portrait of S.Ya. Marshak, book covers of “Post”, “Miracles”, “Sonnets of Shakespeare in the translations of S. Marshak”.

On November 30, two souvenir sheets with one stamp dedicated to the emblems of Moscow and Saint-Petersburg are issued within the series “Emblems of the subjects and towns of the Russian Federation”
The emblem as well as hymn and flag are official symbols of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Each emblem is examined in the Heraldic President’s Council. The officially approved emblem is entered in the State Heraldic Register. The colors, color combinations and the turns of figures are used in the image of the emblem in accordance with the heraldry norms. The basis of the emblem is heraldic shield.
The postage stamp dedicated to the emblem of Moscow depicts contemporary emblem of the town, on the margins of the souvenir sheet there are emblems of the following years: 1730, 1781, 1883,1924.
