On April 26, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of a postage stamp dedicated to the International historical and educational campaign Dictation of Victory

The event was attended by Alexander Khinstein, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, a coordinator of the Historical Memory federal project of the United Russia Party; Vladimir Medinsky, the Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society, an Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation; Ruslan Gagkuev, the Chairman of the Board of the Russian Historical Society; and Vladimir Mashkov, the Artistic Director of the Oleg Tabakov Theatre, the Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation, a People's Artist of Russia.

All-Russian historical campaign Dictation of Victory is an educational event intended not only to test the level of knowledge of the military history of our country, but also to unite all citizens of Russia.

The postage stamp provides an image of an emblem of International historical and educational campaign Dictation of Victory. The face value of the stamp is 29 rubles; its Print Run is 88 thousand items. The design is by Artist Nadezhda Karpova.

The postage stamps were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain.

Traditionally, issues of the state valuable postal matter are timed to remarkable historical dates and events, or are dedicated to celebrated personalities, major backbone enterprises of the Russian economy, state-run and public organizations.
