The title of the Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation is conferred to Russian citizens, who achieved outstanding results in state, public and business activities, made a significant contribution to social and economical development of the country including industrial and agricultural production, transport, building and construction work, science, culture, education and healthcare, as well as other fields of work.
The postage stamp depicts a special insignia, the Gold Star of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation.
