Russian Student Spring is the most wide-scale program of supporting and promoting students’ creativity, which has been implemented in Russia since 1992. A Regulation on the Program is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the All-Russian Non-governmental Organization “Russian Union of Youth”.
The program is aimed at perfecting the system of supporting students’ creativity, developing cultural and artistic activities, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Russian nations, and using the capabilities of Russia to create a positive image of the country abroad.
More than 1.5 million students of 700 professional educational organizations and educational organizations of higher education of the Russian Federation take part in the project annually. The 25th
anniversary festival will take place in Moscow and Tula in 2017. More than 3,000 talented students will take part in the competition program. The gala concert will take place in the Large Hall of the State Kremlin Palace on May19, 2017.
The postage stamp features the logo and the look and feel of the festival.
Additionally, JSC “Marka” has manufactured an illustrated cover with the stamps and first day covers with cancellation (Moscow and Tula) inside.
